Shot Blasting is a process in which a machine fires steel shot at high velocity directly at the surface of concrete to prepare it for coatings or overlays.

The machine recycles the shot and separates the residual floor material in one step, removing adhesive residue, dirt, oil old markings etc., and leaving a clean bare dry surface for resurfacing.

SCARIFYING

Scarifying is a process in which a walk behind machine equipped rotating drum and steel-tipped cutters is passed over concrete or asphalt. This process can accomplish many things including reducing the thickness of the slab, remedying uneven areas and removing old coatings. The unit can be set to remove as little as ¼” or to remove much more with successive passes. It also excels at transitioning uneven joints between surfaces.
